Our 2-day ACA Swiftwater Rescue course teaches recognition and avoidance of common river hazards, execution of self-rescue techniques, and rescue techniques for paddlers in distress. Emphasis is placed both on personal safety and on simple, commonly used skills. Fundamental and more advanced techniques for dealing with hazards that carry greater risks for both victim and rescuer, such as strainers, rescue vest applications, entrapments, and pins, also are practiced. Scenarios will provide an opportunity for participants to practice their skills both individually and within a team/group context.

Ever dreamed of your office being outdoors? Make your dream a reality and take a look at our River Guide Certification Program. This 2-week intensive program is ran once every Summer season in early May. It will take you from bottom to top and teach you everything you need to work all across Colorado and all over the world as a certified River Guide. Jump on this one fast as there is limited availability for the program each year. We train on 3 different rivers including the Upper Colorado River, Clear Creek, and the Blue River and also train on multiple crafts (raft, kayak, paddle board).
