Yoga meets Stand Up Paddleboarding! We’ve partnered with our friends over at Bhava Yoga to bring you SUP Yoga every Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning on the beautiful Maggie Pond.

Stand Up Paddleboarding 101
First timer? No problem. Learn some new skills! Learn the principles of body awareness and balance, propulsion and steering, and board dynamics. This includes footwork and the basic stances, paddle grip, control, and the various paddle strokes. We also teach how to safely fall off, remount your SUP board, strategies to deal with challenging weather conditions, and how to assist others in need. Group or private lessons available. All equipment provided, just bring your swim suit, a towel, and hydration.

River SUPing
Paddleboarding on flat water is a blast, but add some current and whitewater and take it to a new level of fun. We start out in a calm river section to improve our balance and then progress down river with many learning opportunities on the way. Plan on a fun filled day with your guide learning river dynamics, how to get in and out of eddies, ferrying across the river, and river surfing! All required equipment including board, paddle, water shoes, helmet, and pfd are provided.

Already got the basics and just looking for a day to get away? Drop by one of our Summit County locations and grab a board for the day. We partner with High Society Paddleboards to deliver high performance equipment for your paddling adventure. Our guides can direct you to one of Summit County’s many ponds, streams, or alpine lakes. Half-day, full-day and overnight rentals. Includes board, pump, PFD, pack and set-up clinic.
